Our Privacy Commitment in Plain English

ProfitCalcu is a free profit calculator suite for online sellers. We built these tools because sellers deserve to know their true net profit before they list — and we believe strongly that using a free tool should never mean giving up your privacy.

🔒 The short version: we collect nothing. Your pricing data, product costs, and profit margins are yours alone. They never leave your device, never touch our servers, and are never shared with anyone.

Information We Collect

We collect no personally identifiable information (PII) of any kind. There is no account registration, no email signup, no login, and no form that captures your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal detail.

The numbers you enter into any ProfitCalcu calculator — your sale price, product cost, shipping cost, or profit margin — are processed entirely within your own browser using JavaScript. These numbers are never transmitted to our servers. We never see them.

Basic analytics (anonymous only) We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic — such as how many visitors use a page, which country they are from, and which pages are most popular. This data is never tied to an individual and contains no personal information.

How Our Calculators Work

All six calculators on ProfitCalcu — for Etsy, Amazon FBA, eBay, Shopify, Alibaba, and AliExpress — are built as client-side tools. This means:

Everything runs in your browser When you enter a number, the calculation is performed by JavaScript running on your own device. No data is sent to any server to perform the calculation.

Results are not stored anywhere When you close the tab or refresh the page, your inputs are gone. We have no record of what you calculated, when, or how many times.

No account required — ever You will never be asked to create an account, verify an email, or provide any information to use any calculator on this site.

Cookies and Tracking

ProfitCalcu does not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or third-party tracking scripts that monitor your behaviour across the web.

If we use analytics software, it is configured to be privacy-first — meaning it does not fingerprint individual users, does not use persistent tracking cookies, and does not share data with advertising networks. We do not run Google AdSense, Facebook Pixel, or similar advertising trackers on any page of this site.

💡 The dark/light mode preference you set on our site may be saved to your browser's local storage so the page remembers your choice on your next visit. This data lives only in your own browser and is never sent to us.

Third-Party Services

ProfitCalcu does not sell, rent, trade, or share any user data with third parties — because we have no user data to share.

Like most websites, our site is hosted on servers provided by a web hosting company. Standard server logs (which may include your IP address and browser type in raw access logs) may be retained by the hosting provider for a limited time for security and uptime monitoring. These logs are not used by us for marketing or profiling purposes.

If we ever add third-party services in the future (such as a feedback form or customer support tool), this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect what data those services collect and how it is handled.

Children's Privacy

ProfitCalcu is a business tool intended for use by adult online sellers. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our site, please contact us immediately and we will take appropriate action.

Your Rights

Because ProfitCalcu collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. However, depending on where you are located, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws such as the GDPR (European Union) or CCPA (California, USA).

If we make any meaningful changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will never introduce data collection practices that conflict with our core commitment to user privacy without clear notice.
